Easter gig went pretty well yesterday, April and Bonnie's duets sounded great ( much better on the tape than what I could hear from the wrong side of the altar area).

We did a piece for choir, brass quintet, I think organ and piano, and percussion. That was the biggie and It didn't go badly, although in the runthrough with the choir and brass beforehand I thought it was going to be pretty rough. There were some funny things going on in the trombone section. Of course nothing was wrong with the trumpets, no not us; we're as pure as the drivin snow. We're absosmurfly perfect :)

And during the performance of that piece the only clam I heard was mine own :) Came in a measure early in the middle of the piece, but since it was within the chord I just repeated the figure 2 times and then right into the correct place for it. The only people who noticed it were those with music in front of 'em and not even all of them.

Also have to say Thanks again to Bee for playing tuba for us! it's always good to have that extra oomph on Easter.

Overall, just glad it's over; I wisht I had brought a change of clothes to mom's so I could de-monkeysuit myself before dinner :)
