Dork Covenant thanks to my sweetie! :)

Listening
Soundtrack to Brassed Off!

Movies
Brassed Off!< - A GREAT movie! just please don't ever show the fingers of actors when they're supposed to be playing an instrument. It's painful. The Grimethorpe Colliery Band really rocks! have to get recordings

Computer Game
Mechwarrior II on ps2

Starcraft Brood War of course

Painting
Finishing up tons of Skeletons, a few ghouls, some Zombies, and a couple character minis.

Esoteric and eclectic maunderings. Jumping feet-first into the stream of consciousness.

And what the FUCK was that travesty during the pre-game show. Right there on national tv, male children with their hats on during the banner, at least they had their hands on their hearts, but still. And the sack of flatness that was singing the banner, and some other piece of shit song in the middle of it. FLAT AS THE DAY IS LONG ON EVERY NOTE THAT WAS SOMEWHAT HIGH. AND SHE GOT THE WORDS WRONG! CAN'T THEY GET A TELEPROMPTER FOR THESE BINTS? OR CAN THEY NOT READ? NOT TO MENTION THE MELISMAS OF DEATH! TASTELESS TASTELESS TASTELESS!

I tell you if I were in that color guard, I'd have to make sure my rifle wasn't loaded.

Why don't the parade producers ever go to commercial in the middle of some crappy pop star's craptastic attempt at lip synching?

"And who's that coming around the corner????"

"It's the Lakewood high-school marching Wal-mart commercial"

"And awaaaaaay we go. . ."

"And we're back for 5 minutes of craptastic music by children you've never heard of who will probalby be out of popularity by the time they finish butchering their own lyrics -- it's Flavor of the 46 seconds.

Feh

I am Igor.

The new extended dvd of LOTR is great stuff. So much character development back in the film.

One thing that wasn't in the books but April and I just HAVE TO KNOW! What was it that Gimli said to Haldir that was "Not so polite?"

John Rhys-Davies are you listening? What did you say???

Speaking of Gimli, i'm much happier now that his character actually has a bit of depth now due to the added scenes with Galadriel.

Soon I think I'll be starting a new batch of mead. Although I wonder if I should start another, or wait a while. I should be bottling my blackberry in the next month or so and I'll have both a primary pail and carboy freed up for something else.

I dunno what kind to make though. The Moose suggests another fruit mead, perhaps strawberry or blueberry. Of course that would mean getting frozen berries, which isnt' a big problem.

Perhaps I can do an apple or pear mead. Those of you who drink mead have any suggestions?

From Boing Boing comes this little beauty that no apartment dweller, or home dweller, should be without.

Yay the iPod is back! well not really, Apple sent me a new one, but that's just as good.

So now I can listen to In our cups' Caviar (Virgin Sturgeon) at work and in the car, and everywhere else :)

Now too, i'll be able to use the back of the iPod as a mirror when I need to for a contact lens or whatever. My old podster was pretty scratched up on the back because of not having any other case for it in the early months of ownership, but now the new one is protected. Woohoo! ::Happy iPod dance::

Also got Jedi Knight II yesterday, haven't installed it yet though last night was D&D night.

Two adventures in Rappan Athuk and I still haven't killed a single character. .oO must be getting old

Ok addicted to Bookworm. A bunch of people on AFR (alt.fairs.renaissance) were talking about it and so I had to try it, now both the Moose and I spend hours playing this stupid game. Anyway I just had to brag, Check out that point total for a single word!

Ditching Network Solutions as my domain name registrar so things could get rocky over the next few days, I don't know if there'll be any effect or not.

And yes, Alex, I really do have a friend who was asking about that, but I decided I'd better move off of the evil-empire of registrars as well before it got too close to time to renew this domain registration.

I'll probably move YACCB.org over if I can find DNS Service somewhere else. Plus i'll have both my active domain names under the same account which is good.

Well we had our first game in the Rappan Athuk modules last night. Surprisingly there were no deaths last night - I guess i'm a wuss. :)

So far the Wizard and the Monk have found more traps than either of the rogues. Of course they're finding them the easy way. :)

The group has managed to find their way into the first level of the dungeon and veterens of that series know what that means. . . DUNGIE!

In fact 4 of them became very enamored of dungie and got to know him rather intimately.

Please if you're going to comment, no spoilers though :)
